Adam Jalaludin recently joined the national Grains Farm Biosecurity Program as Queensland’s Grains Biosecurity Officer, based in Toowoomba. Adam has been working in agricultural research and crop protection for the past 8 years. His experience in broadacre cropping for both winter and summer crops, has taught him the importance of protecting the grains industry and the critical role biosecurity plays to achieve this.
Adam is passionate about helping grain growers in their fight against agricultural pests. In the past he has worked on herbicide resistance surveillance program for the northern grain cropping region, non-chemical weed management research and trialling of new crop protection products for growers.
Adam sees the Queensland Grains Biosecurity Officer role as an extension of his passion to help growers. He looks forward to meeting, engaging and working with various grain industry stakeholders at the farm and local industry level.
