Marianne Coquilleau joined PHA’s Preparedness Team in the role of Project Officer, Grains Farm Biosecurity, in December 2024.
In her previous role at Cesar Australia, Marianne worked on testing resistance in the green peach aphid. Prior to this, she was an Entomologist at the Australian sustainability start-up Bardee, developing black soldier fly larvae to process food waste into fertilisers. In 2020, Marianne completed a Master’s degree at the University of Melbourne on Seasonality and Community Composition of Parasitoid Wasps of Four Agromyzid Leafminer Species (Diptera: Agromyzidae) in Victoria. She has also contributed to science communication and community engagement in various roles.
